One of the key Committees of the Bole District Football Association called the Data and Statistics has taken their role step further by coming up with a well developed app that will make football administration a lot easier than before.
The Chairman of the committee, Mr Osman Issahaku (Champion) officially handed over the app to the Executive Committee on Wednesday June 2,2021 at the BDFA’s office in Bole.
Champion took the opportunity and briefly explained to members of the Executive how the app works.
He said when fully operational, information about players and officials of all juvenile and Division Three clubs can be accessed from the app. He added that the app also contained information about the members of the Executive Committee and their various portfolios.
Mr Osman also stated that fixtures, results and standings of all leagues under the jurisdiction of the District FA will all be put on the app. Additionally, live updates of matches will also be on the app.
Interestingly, the app has also been linked to the website of both Yagbon Radio and Nkilgi FM such that thier sports stories are directly accessed via the app.
The Chairman of the BDFA, Mr Joecheam Ewutomah said he was so excited when he saw the app. He graciously thanked the Data and Statistics Committee particularly its hardworking chairman for the app and urged club owners to provide adequate and up to date information about their players and officials to the administrators of the app to make it fully operational and fit for purpose.
Mr Ewutomah said the app would subsequently be launched on 12th June, 2021. Afterwards it will be available for usage by the general public.
