Buipewura celebrates 17th Damba festival.

The Paramount Chief of the Buipe Traditional Area, Jira Buipewura Jinapor II has celebrated his 17th Damba festival on 20th September 2025 at Buipe.

The theme for this year’s BUDAFEST is “Promoting Peaceful Co-existence, A Path To Sustainable Development”

Speaking on behalf of Jira Buipewura Jinapor II at the durber grounds, Chief Neripewura Kipson Panfia noted that peace set the tone for a balance development and a prerequisite for unity and diversity.

The King of Buipe Area added that its price is valueless and granite and in this regards he therefore called on all and sundry from Gonjaland and Savannah region to reject the shadows of conflicts.

Jira Buipewura mentioned that, to thrive in this modern age, we must embrace education as the bridge to our tomorrow, and education is not a distance shore, but a fertile ground for development and economic enhancement.

For Savannah to be describe as a beacon of development, them we must embrace education in it’s diversity , and the world’s opportunities are proudly found in education.

The Paramount Chief added that this is the time for transformations, innovation and development, and the changes it brings are reduce poverty, empower women leading cooperatives, and youth migrating not in despair, but in pursuit of global partnership and let’s pursue education to better the future we are building as a people.

There is a sharp sword of a dark cloud looming and parsing through the youth fabric of this nation, that is the Almighty Tramadol Red 225, solutions and general drug abuse is a huge threat of the future of the youth in this country.

“I there for call on the law makers and security services to critically assess the level of drug abuse in the country and enforce the laws of narcotic drugs in the country to control the situation” he said.

The national vice president of the house of chiefs, again said Tramadol, Wunim Red,sniff, shisha, aphrodisiacs in moment of youthful folly have strong grips of many of our adolescent with iron claws.

So let us carry this charge into our hearts, uphold peace as our fortress and nature culture as our soul pursue education as our sword and banish drug abuse as the enemy it is.

Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry and the Member of Parliament for Techiman North Constituency, speaking as the special guest of honor noted that, the ministry of trade, agribusiness and industry views Buipe and the Savannah region as strategic in Ghana’s economic transformational agenda.

The Minister added that the land is rich in agriculture, lives stock, shea,cashiw yam and other commodities.

Mrs Elizabeth, mentioned that as we celebrate this year’s BUDAFEST let us renew our commitment to building an economy that is inclusive, resilient and prosperous.

Let us use culture not only to preserve our past but also to inspire innovation and enterprise for the future.

The Ministry of trade agribusiness and industry is ready to partner with the people of Buipe and the entire Savannah region to unlock the potential that lies here and together we can transform this land into a hub of agro-process, logistics and commerce that serves Ghana and West Africa.
