The Member of Parliament for the Bole- Bamboi Constituency, Alhaji Sulemana Yusif has donated 170 street light to the various Electoral Areas in the Bole District.

The donation is aimed at lightening every dark corner in the District especially in the Bole township.

Presenting the street lights on Monday to the Presiding Member of the Bole District Assembly to be shared among Assembly Members, Hon. Yusif remarked, “This initiative is targeted at brightening every dark corner in the electoral areas”.

“It will increase visibility and also enhance the security situation within the District; criminals operate in darkness and once we lighten up all these places their operations would be curtailed because they’re likely to be seen,” the Bole- Bamboi MP added.

The Presiding Member for the Bole District Assembly, Hon. Jamani Bakari who received the lights on behalf of his colleagues, thanked Hon. Yusif for the initiative adding that the gesture would augment the efforts in ensuring that the entire District is lightened up.

He assured the MP that the lights would be used purposefully.
