Bole District Community Foundation Donates to less privileged persons in Bole.

The Bole District Community Foundation has donated some items to the less privileged in Bole to mark this year’s Eid Fitr celebration.

The beneficiaries are twenty persons including widows, the aged, sick and less privileged in the five electoral in Bole who received the gesture

The foundation since its launch on December 27, 2021 has embarked on several projects including the annual Ramadan feed the needy project, provision of water facilities, provision of sanitary pad to students, carrier path education, entrepreneurship trainings among others.

This is the second edition of the project which is usually done by harnessing resources from residents of Bole to support these needy individuals in the community during Ramadan.

Each beneficiaries received rice, tin tomatoes, noodles and cooking oil.

Speaking to the media, the beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude to Bole District Community Foundation and the people of Bole for their kind gesture.

A widow in Korupe Electoral Area, with her orphan said they were overwhelmed with the gesture and pray for the survival of the Foundation and prosperity for any one who donated.

Speaking to Yagbon News, the Chief Executive Officer for Bole District Community Foundation Mr James Emmanuel, on behalf of the board and management expressed his gratitude to the people of Bole for the donations.

He mentioned among others gold dealers, shop owners market women who has donated in diverse ways to the success of the project and however called for more support in subsequent projects.

Mr Emmanuel explained that with the needed support BDCF will like to have a food bank to support the needy in the society as part of its mandate.

He however lament how the diaspora seems unconcerned about the foundation adding that they should local support and partner BDCF for the development of Bole District.

He pleaded that next year’s project will be more massive than this year and that will depend on the support from the people of Bole.
