Bole: DCE Commissions CHPS Compound for Tesilma and its environs.

The District Chief Executive for Bole, Hon. Veronica Alele Heming on Friday 3rd July, 2020 commissioned a Community-Based Health Planning and Service (CHPS) compound for the people of Tesilma in the Tesilma Electoral Area.

The facility, made up of a male ward, female ward, emergency room, children’s ward and a pharmacy store room is expected to serve the people of Tesilma and its nearby communities.

In a ceremony attended by staff of the District Assembly, Opinion leaders and District Health officials as well as the Chiefs and people of Tesilma,Hon. Veronica admonished the people to “own the facility”.

She said the people of Tesilma have always craved for a health facility so they should ensure that they make good use of the facility.

She added that the facility will be connected to the national Grid together with a dug borehole to ensure efficient health delivery.

Addressing the gathering, Nana Kwabena Gyamsei lll, chief of Tesilma, praised the DCE for putting up such a magnificent edifice in his area.

The chief reiterated that his area has benefited immensely from projects from the District Assembly including the 1v1d policy and a toilet facility.

Officials from the GHS expressed their gratitude to the Assembly for the facility as they said the provision of the facility will help improve the health conditions of the beneficiary communities.
