Bole Triangle (Area 18) earmarked for construction of a Modern 24-Hour Market in Bole has been evaluated for construction works to begin.
More than one hundred shop owners operating in the area were asked to vacate the site by February 1, 2026, ahead of the demolition and redevelopment works.
The Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi, Hon. Yusif, expressed excitement about the demolition and the commencement of the project, describing it as a major step toward improving commerce and development in the district.
According to the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, the new facility will be a modern market designed to enhance trading activities and provide better conditions for businesses.
He explained that the market will be strategically located in a central part of town where commercial activities are already vibrant.
Aside from market stalls, the project will include additional infrastructure and amenities aimed at transforming the area into a lively commercial hub.
Hon. Yusif also praised the determination of the youth, whose persistent advocacy over the years contributed to the realization of the project.

He commended the community for their strong support and cooperation.
The Minister further acknowledged the contributions of traditional leaders, elders, youth groups, assembly members of the Bole District Assembly, and the media for working together to ensure a smooth and peaceful process.
He expressed confidence that with patience and continued unity, the project would be successfully completed.
He added that under the leadership of President Mahama, Bole is set to become an attractive destination for investors and visitors alike.
The new market is expected to boost local trade, stimulate economic activity, and create employment opportunities for residents of the district.
