The Deputy CEO of Ghana Export Promotion Authority Albert Kassim Diwura has visited his constituency to monitor the phase two of the Electoral commission voters registration exercise in Soalepe,Tailorpe and Busunu registration centers all under the west Gonja Constituency to have a first hand information about the process.
During his visit he encouraged the constituents to come out in their numbers and register.
Speaking on Yagbon “TeaCup” morning show Thursday 9th July 2020, he said all the registration centers visited, the applicants were observing the necessary covid-19 protocols and the centers were all peaceful, there were no challenges regarding to the functioning of the machines.
I also donated some items and nose masks to the party agents which is to be given to people who may come to the registration centers to register without nose mask, he said.
Mr. Diwura condemned the indecent action which happened between the two major political parties in Damongo and urged the youth to be united and not allow themselves to be used by politician.
“The NPP government has done marvelously well by giving Gonjaland a Region and the only way to show appreciation to the party, is by voting massively for H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo in the upcoming general elections and also deliver the seat for the NPP parliamentary candidate Lawyer Abu Jinapor”. He added
Mr. Albert Diwura again, made known that his institution has donated Sanitizers, Nose Masks and Veronica buckets to the Arts and Crafts Association at the Tamale Cultural Center.
During the encounter he said the virus is real and should not be joked with and urged people to do away with stigma associated with the virus in our communities.
“What I have brought today confirms how the President and his government are pursuing the fight against the coronavirus”, he stated.
He pronnounced that the government has made personal protective equipment (PPEs) available in the country for front liners to protect themselves against the pandemic.
Mr Albert said the prevention protocols outlined by the government, were designed to protect the people against the virus and urged everyone to adhere strictly to the directives to stay safe.
