The Bole District Police Command is set to auction abandoned motorbikes parked at the Police Station in Bole, the District capital, DSP Benjamin Buxton, told Yagbon News on Wednesday, April 06, 2022.

The exercise is to decongest the police station of several abandoned motorbikes, the District Police Commander said.

“As a result of this, the command wishes to announce to the general public, especially those who have their motor bikes at the Bole Police Station to take the necessary steps to repossess them as soon as possible,” he said.

According to the commander an earlier announcement was made in December 2021, regarding seized motorbikes of which owners were asked to avail themselves with the necessary documents to claim the motorbikes but some didn’t show up and hence we are auctioning all abandoned motorbikes.

DSP Benjamini said any motor bike which was not repossessed during the December public announcement would be sold off at a public auction on Wednesday, April, 06,2022.

The motorbikes were seized from unauthorized motor riders who have since failed to submit the relevant documentations to enable the release of their bikes to them.
