A man only identified as “Chairman, Chairman ” of about 30 years old has been killed by unknown assailants in Bole in the Savannah Region.

The young man was dumped inside the septic tank of St. Kizito A JHS toilet facility.

This brings to a total of 3, the number of people killed in an unexplained manner in the area between May and Ist June 2024.

Last week Sunday, the Watchman of the Bole Girls Model JHS was killed inside a room at the hostel.

Assembly member for the Mempeasem Electoral Area , Mr Abu Hassan is concerned about the recent happenings.

He believes that 3 incidents within a matter of 4 weeks are very scary.

Mr Abu Hassan, therefore, called on the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to come to their aid before matters degenerate.

The DCE for Bole, Hon. Veronica Alele Heming, speaking to Yagbon News at scene of the incident called on all residents to be vigilant and report suspicious characters to the law enforcing agencies.

She said that security is a shared responsibility and urged all residents to contribute to end such bad acts in the town.

The DCE added that DISEC is working tirelessly with the traditional council to bring such heinous activities to an end.

The body of the deceased has been dumped at the Sawla Hospital mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
