The Zion Community Church International, in collaboration with Frontier Missions Network has come to the aid of two rural communities with two new boreholes.

Bawuroyiri and Saru-Dojine of the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba  District of the Savannah Region are the beneficiary communities.

These boreholes equipped with hand pumps charged at ¢40,000 and are predicted to serve about 1,000 inhabitants from the two communities and their surroundings.

This will conserve inhabitants from the usage of the stream which pose the threat of water borne conditions and will reduce the time expent by females in looking for water.

Founder and overseer of the church, Reverend Apostle Dr. Modes Sansah Konjon, was optimistic the progress will assure that citizens are not stranded at the stream in their communities any longer.

“The gospel is not only about the spiritual welfare, it also by itself with the physical dimension of its adherents, to satisfy their most felt social requirements,” he indicated.

Apostle Sansah, intimated that partnering governing administration to deliver the demands of the people was another way of preaching the gospel and exhibiting individuals how to be benevolent and merciful in direction of the needs of other individuals.

On his portion, Mwaaboo Tumokaar,a leader of Saru-Dojine, recommended the church for its lively role in the improvement of the District.

“Since the existence of this neighborhood we have under no circumstances tasted a potable water as we contend with our animals at the stream for water” he admitted.

Residents of the two beneficiary communities, specially the women thanked the gentleman of God for his unflinching aid in offering them with potable drinking water as they sang and danced to the admiration of all.

The church and its network have drilled over 40   boreholes in the Savannah Region.
