
The District Chief Executive, DCE, for Wa West ,Hon. Wulo Richard ,has inspected a number of ongoing development projects in the District to ensure quality work and timely completion.
The inspection took place on Monday, March 30, 2026, as part of efforts by the District Assembly to monitor progress on key infrastructure projects.
The projects inspected included a mechanized borehole drilled at Wechiua fire station awaiting commissioning ,a urinal pit constructed at Wechiua market,
construction of Pase CHIPS Compound ,
building of Dabo Primary school,
construction of Gbache CHIPS Compound
a drilled borehole at Nako waiting commissioning, construction of Tanina KG school, visited the spilled off Dam at Poyentaga and the construction of 20 -bed capacity maternity ward at Poyentaga.
The DCE was accompanied by the District Coordinating Director, Mr Pious Fuseini , the planning Officer, District Engineer as well as the District Assembly staff from the Wa west District Assembly.
The visit formed part of the Assembly’s routine monitoring exercise to assess progress of work, identify challenges and engage stakeholders to ensure that projects are executed according to plan for the benefit of the people of the district.
The District Chief Executive commended the contractors and technical officers for the progress made so far and encouraged them to maintain quality standards while ensuring that the projects are completed within the stipulated timelines.
