The Bole District volleyball team made a remarkable impression at the recent Inter-District Sports Competition in Dobaya, showcasing impressive skills and teamwork.
Their success is attributed to the district’s innovative Juvenile Volleyball Gala, which nurtures young talent and promotes the sport.
From humble beginnings in December 2020 with four participating communities – Simariyiri, Mandari, Seripe, and Maluwe – the gala has grown to include Mankuma, Gbogdaa Dabouyiri, Kilampobile, and Kakiasi.
This flagship event develops young players’ skills and provides a supportive competitive environment.
The Bole District team’s victory testifies to the Juvenile Gala’s effectiveness.
The team’s players, all gala products, demonstrated exceptional skill, strategy, and sportsmanship.
The success is a source of pride for organizers and a shining example of grassroots development programs’ impact.
Sports enthusiasts praised Mr. Osman Issahaku (Champion), Mohammed Sumani (Messi), Mr. Bakari Aziz (Lawyer One), Mr. Alhassan (Prof One), and Mr. Zakaria Tumeto Alidu for nurturing young talent.
With continued support, Bole is likely to remain a force in future competitions.
The Juvenile Gala’s success serves as a model, highlighting youth sports development’s importance. Bole’s achievement celebrates sports’ power to unite communities and inspire excellence.
The district’s volleyball success brings joy to players from Gbogdaa, Seripe, and Mankuma, who stood up for their beloved Bole. With this performance, Bole has regained its lost name in volleyball.
