Wa West DCE Calls For Stakeholder Support To Ensuring Accelerated Development.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Wa West, Hon. Vida Di-Orotey has called for strong cooperation and support of all stakeholders especially chiefs and people to enable her meet the development aspiration of the people.

According to the DCE, without the support of the stakeholders it would be highly impossible for the government to implement its policies aimed at bringing socio-economic and infrastructural development to the people.

This was made known through a press release by the Communications Directorate of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Wa West constituency when the immediate past DCE , Hon. Edward Laabiir Sabo officially handed over the administration and management of the assembly to her on November 16,2021.

The DCE appealed to the traditional authorities, security agencies, the youth groups and other stakeholders to maintain the prevailing unity and oneness in the District for an accelerated socio-economic development.

The press release assured that Hon. Vida Di-Orotey would continue to collaborate with all development partners to push the growth and development of the District to the level that it deserves.

As a mother for all, her hands are opened for all suggestions that would lead our dear district to an improved condition, the statement added.

“While thanking the Outgone DCE, Hon. Edward Sabo Laabiir for contributing his quota towards improvements in various sectors of the district economy, we are also calling on all Chiefs, Assembly members, Heads of Departments, Youth Groups, all political parties and their followers in the Constituency to support Hon. Vida Di-Orotey to continue with the ongoing programmes and projects, while adding more to fulfil our expectations as development partners”, the statement buttressed on.

Hon. Vida Di-Orotey, is the 6th and first female DCE for the Wa West District since its creation.
