Volleyball: Amantana supporters Eid Gala.

Hon. Yahaya Amantana who is seeking to be elected as the parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has responded to the call for support by organisers of the 2023 Eid Fitri volleyball gala.

The team presented 7 cartons of energy drink and 7 bags of water to the seven teams who took part in the gala.

The campaign manager Mr Oluwinta Salis who did the presentation on behalf of the Amantana team stated that Hon Amantana sees sports as a very important pillar in the development in the Bole District thus he would always endeavour to support to organise sporting activities.

The team also promised to provide a mini bus to the volleyball association to ease transportation.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the chairman of the Bole District Juvenile Volleyball Association, Mr Alidu T. Zakaria thanked the team for being the only group to have responded to the desperate call for support even though letters were sent to all other stakeholders for support.

The chairman explained that the main purpose of the gala was provide some sort of entertainment to the people of Bole and also engage the youth during the holidays.

The one day event which took place in Bole at the Bole Court on Sunday March 23, 2023 saw five Volleyball clubs from surrounding communities of Bole namely: Seripe Mighty Fingers Volleyball club VC, Mandari Ball Busters, Gbogdaa Volleyball Academy, Simariyiri Volleyball Club and Mankuma Jakpa Warriors VC joined the Senior teams of Bole and Sawla and provided a lot of entertainment with their volleyball skills court.
