Tingawura Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu has been elected as the Savannah Region’s representative for the Council of State membership, securing an overwhelming landslide victory with 11 out of 14 votes.
He is the current Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Council of Elders in the Savannah Region.
Following his victory, he pledged to work diligently and offer strategic advice to the President to ensure increased development for the Savannah Region.
Expressing his gratitude, Tingawura Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu thanked the people of the region and the delegates for their trust and confidence in his leadership.
Four candidates contested to be elected as a member of the Council of State, Tingawura Abudu Seidu Sampson securing 11 votes, Tolodopewura Abdallah Ahmed 0, Bingowura Adam Samuel Saibu 2 votes and Adamu Seidu Jinkurige(Kongwura) 1vote.
