The Member of Parliament for the Sawla- Tuna-Kalba Constituency in the Savannah Region has given the thumb up to the Minority leader in Parliament and MP for Tamale South, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu for showing love to his constituents.

The Minority leader who was among other bigwigs of the National Democratic Congress who accompanied the 8th Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Alban S.K Bagbin to his home region (Upper West) made a stop over at Kulmasa, a farming community in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency.

The experience Tamale South MP made the stop over when returning from Wa and interacted with the the youth of the community.

The MP upon a request made by the youth group donated twenty plastic chairs and a 32 inches flat screen to them in aid of their activities.

They also appealed for a vocational school in the community, employment opportunities and asked that the road network linking Bole-Sawla-Wa be rehabilitated.

Responding to the request made the youth, the former Trades and Industry minister under the erstwhile John Mahama administration told the youth group that the next NDC Government will priotised job opportunities for the youth and that plans are far advanced for the road to be awarded on contract for rehabilitation.

For the establishment of a vocational school in the community, Hon. Haruna stated that he cannot promise them since they are in opposition but urged the youth to stay steadfast and be committed to the ideals of the National Democratic Congress.

The MP for the area, Hon Andrew Dari Chiwitey who could not hide his joy told Yagbon News that he and his constituents are grateful to the minority leader for showing them such massive love.
