The Savannah Regional Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Hon. Mahama Zakaria, has continued his outreach to communities affected by the recent Gbiniyiri conflict.
Accompanied by his team, the Director visited several communities in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District to assess the situation and offer humanitarian support.
The visit forms part of NADMO’s ongoing efforts to provide relief and restore normalcy for displaced and affected victims in the region.
During the visit, food items and other essential relief supplies were distributed to mitigate the hardships faced by residents following the conflict.
Hon. Zakaria reiterated NADMO’s commitment to standing with the victims and ensuring that the necessary support reaches all affected persons.
He also called for peace and cooperation among community members to foster lasting stability in the region.
NADMO continues to work closely with local authorities, traditional leaders, and other stakeholders to coordinate relief efforts and ensure that no affected community is left behind.
As part of his visit, he also visited the construction site of the Gbiniyiri’s chief palace that is fast progressing. In all, it was yet another success
