The Youth Parliament is a platform that will prepare young people in making decisions at the local and national discourse organized by the National Youth Authority and sponsored by YEFL-Ghana.

Speaking at the Inauguration, the Regional Director for NYA, Mr E. B Gyan Ansah, said this is a way of inculcating into the youth the love and pride of our nation and above all our national aspirations which is in line with the 2010 National Youth Policy under review.

He said for inclusive development at the local government level, the youth must participate in community service, he noted.

Globally, development comes with volunteering Mr Gyan Ansah stated.

The Bole District Director for NYA, Samuel Naah said the motivation behind choosing sanitation as an agenda is because sanitation situation in the District needs attention.
