NGO donates medical equipment to Bole District Health Directorate.

Dr. Alhaji Abass Ganew, a philanthropist from the diaspora has donated hospital equipment to the Bole Health Directorate to ensure effective health care delivery.

Speaking to Yagbon News after the donation, Dr. Abass mentioned that he’s a philanthropist and they have an NGO called Atichakoli Foundation and Health Ghana in Germany and they deemed it necessary to come to the Bole Health Directorate to do the presentation.

Dr. Abass added that this hospital equipment is worth Hundred and Fifty Thousand Euro’s which is being donated to the hospital.

The philanthropist indicated that the donation to the hospital was intended to place the health facility in a position to provide quality health care to the the people of Bole.

The items donated to the hospital are beds, tables, chairs refrigerator, theater equipments and a whole lot.

The Director of Health Services in the Bole District, Gbansiga Ndapewurche Hajia Fuseina, described the donation as timely and indicated that the equipment would be utilised at the health facilities in the District.

She also thanked Dr. Afisah Zakaria for lobbying through the NGO for them to present such equipment to them.

In a different presentation the NGO through Dr. Afisah Zakaria donated second hand clothings to the people of Koripe to be distributed among themselves including children and adults in the community.

A community leader thank Dr. Afisah Zakaria and the NGO for such donation and promise to distribute them accordingly in the community.
