The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC ) is targeting all 7 parliamentary seats in the Savannah Region in the 2024 December election, a communications team member of the party, Mr Dery Andrews, has vouched.
According to him, the party is not expecting to win anything less than all the 7 parliamentary seats in the Savannah Region and that “with the despondency in the system, the sufferings of the masses which you see clearly in people’s faces, will clearly tell you the NDC will win in 2024″.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) presently holds 4 of the 7 seats in the region while the ruling NPP has 3.
The NDC has targeted to increase its seats in the home region of Former President John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 elections.
Mr Andrews cautioned party supporters and sympathizers against voting skirt and in any elections.
He said it is only right for party supporters and sympathizers to vote for both their Presidential and Parliamentary candidates in all elections.
Mr Andrew made these comments when he joined the Savannah Regional Communications Officer to entreat new members to register with the NDC in their ongoing new membership registration.
He asked all sympathizers of the party to register and become active members of the umbrella family.
He urged people to register to become active members of the party, it is an opportunity to rise through the party ranks and get groomed for political leadership in the present-future, Mr Andrews noted.
