The Head of Business Advisory Center of the National Board for Small Scale Industries Mr Adam Sina has said they have reopen the portal to accept applications from businesses for the COVID-19 stimulus package starting 24th September 2020.

This is to create opportunity for those who couldn’t apply previously and for those who did not receive the loan but applied previously.

Mr Sina disclosed this on Yagbon radio tea cup show on Wednesday.

On a phone conversation Bole BAC Boss explained that the program is by NBSSI and MasterCard foundation a non Governmental organization.

Mr Sina said if one has received the previous loan or pending to received payment is not qualify to apply.

However, if the said person did not received the loan, he/she is qualify to but if later your name appear on the previous list then the system will block one.

He explained that requirements are TIN which is paramount, a business certificate and Voters ID, Passport, and drivers licence

However, with voters ID and TIN you are qualify to apply.

The BAC boss lamented complains he received previously on why many people in other Districts received the loan but in Bole District only few received.

He said people especially those who didn’t apply the last time to do so.

If you meet a family member or a friend that has not apply just tell him the system is available to the general public

In May this year government of Ghana instituted a stimulus package for distress Ghanaians businesses as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.
