The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency in the Savannah Region, Andrew Dari Chiwitey, has pledged to work closely with stakeholders to improve the standards of education in the area.
He maintained that human development through education remains a priority and efforts are being made to ensure such a target was met.
Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey said this at Kulmasa during the 45th annual congress of the Kulmasa Youth Association.
The MP congratulated the Kulmasa Youth Association on the celebration of their 45th annual congress and also eulogised them for the beautiful achievements attained so far.
He lauded them for their communal spirit and their determination to see an improved Kulmasa.
Hon. Chiwitey was also impressed with the fact that four of the students awarded by his office came from Kulmasa.
He also encouraged the community to adequately market the Kulmasa crocodile site.
He added that, in order for the tourism potentials of the crocodile pond to boom, the community need to ensure that the community is clean.
Hon. Chiwitey again lauded them for the establishment of the Kulmasa Opportunities Endowment Fund set up to support the development of human resource capital.
On his part, he pledged an amount of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHȻ10,000.00) to support the endowment fund.
