Late Hon. Donald Soditey Dari Family Informs Former President Mahama About Burial In July.

The family of the late Hon. Donald Soditey Dari, a former Member of Parliament of the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba under the National Democratic Congress administration, has announced that he will be buried on Saturday July 2, 2022.

The final funeral and the burial rites take place in his hometown, Doume, a suburb of Sawla town.

The family announced this during a courtesy call on former President John Dramani Mahama at his office in Accra to announce the funeral arrangements.

The sad event occurred at the Tamale Teaching Hospital on Sunday, May 22, 2022.

He served the people of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba from 2004 to 2016 as their representative in Parliament.

The family of the late MP, was led by Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey, Hon. John Jinapor and Hon. Yusif Sulemana to pay a courtesy call on H.E John Dramani Mahama to officially inform, as well as invite him to the final funeral rites of the former Member of Parliament for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba.

Former President Mahama said the late ‘Gbaga’ as they used to call themselves was a nice person who he has been in touch with, for a long time.

The delegation also paid a courtesy call on the Minority leader of Parliament, the Hon. Haruna Iddrisu was supported by the Minority Chief whip to receive the delegation.

The delegation ended the day with a courtesy call on the Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin who was also joined by other High profile persons including Hon Kofi Attoh, Hon Bede Zeideng as well as other senior staff of Parliament.

They all recounted fond memories of the late former Member of Parliament, Hon Donald Dari Soditey.
