The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, who doubles as the lawmaker for the Damongo Constituency in the Savannah Region, Hon. Abu Jinapor, has donated a brand new Toyota Hilux Pick-up and five new motorbikes to the Salaga South Constituency.

The donation was done on behalf of the sector Minister by the Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party in the Region.

The donation, according to the Regional Secretary, Mr Mohammed Issah, is in fulfilment of a promise made to all the seven constituencies in the Savannah Region by the compassionate and enterprising lawmaker tailored at enhancing effective day-to-day operations of the party’s activities in solidifying the grounds in reclaiming the seat the party marginally lost in the 2020 general elections.

The gesture was aimed at facilitating the work of the Executives especially in remote parts of the Constituency to propagate the monumental heights chalked by the NPP led Government.

The Constituency Executives and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Richard Broni, were overwhelmed at the continued kind gesture of the MP and Minister.

Undoubtedly, they intimated that the timely donation will go a long way to ameliorate efforts by the party in the Region in accomplishing the party’s crusade of breaking the 8 as the campaign for 2024 gets intense.

Hon. Broni was full of joy as he admonished the party in the Constituency to rather work in unison with the donation than divide themselves with same.

In turns, the Salaga South Constituency has become the fifth constituency out of the seven to receive the wholehearted gesture from the Damongo legislature.

“On behalf of the Savannah Regional Chairman of the party, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana Kalamonia and the entire Regional Executive Committee, I conveyed the party’s heartiest appreciation to the reluctantly loud Minister cum MP for his unabated resolve of resourcing the party in the Region”, said Mr. Issah.
