An Independent Parliamentary Candidate of the Damongo constituency, Mr David Tiki Dange has said that he has never being a politician in all his life not to talk about been a member of the NDC.

He said he worked as an investigative consultant until his retirement when he decided to come home to seek the mandate of his people to serve them.

Mr Dange speaking to Abdul Fataw Diwura on Yagbon Radio “Tea cup” show on Thursday, 5th November, 2020, in a reaction to the communique issued by Johnson Aseidu Nketia, the General Secretary of the opposition NDC.

The National Democratic Congress on Wednesday, 4th November, 2020 issued a communique expunging all members of the party that have decided to go independent including Mr David Tiki Dange who is an independent candidate for Damongo constituency.

Reacting to that Mr Tiki Dange said he was at Abuja and received a call that he has been expelled from NDC.

He said that was wrong because he has never done politics and does not hold any political party’s card so why will NDC add him to this list.

Mr Tiki Dange said China is bigger than Ghana but they used only 50yrs to develop China today Ghana is 63 years but a place like Damongo cannot boast of water and basic amenities.

“The NDC and NPP are parties of the same people  and they have shared the country among themselves duped citizens of Ghana, that is what motivated him into politics”, he explained.

Mr Tiki Dange said what we dont know is that people see politics as a business not to serve.

But he will only encouraged politicians to consider serving their people by addressing their basic needs before stealing from them.

He said Gonjaland is left behind in terms of development and we need people like my type to bring change in the area, he stated.

He stressed that, the NDC has no right to add him to the list of expelled members of their party because he has never been their member.
