The upcoming December General Election is about records and not insults; this is according to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole-Bamboi Constituency in the Savannah Region, Hon. Yussif Sulemana popularly known as Ori.
According to the MP, who doubles as the Deputy ranking member on parliamentary select committee on Trade and Industry, “this year’s election is not about insults or lies rather, it is about the projects the NDC did years back as compared to what the NPP too has done.
Hon. Yussif made this known at the Bole District office of the Electoral Commission on October 9, 2020, after he had successfully filed his nomination forms to contest for the seat on the ticket of the NDC for the second time.
He called on Ghanaians to vote base on what the NPP and the NDC have both achieved for this country as political parties.
Hon. Yussif added that the second coming of John Dramani Mahama as a President of the country will witness a growth of the country relating to all sectors.
He said their manifesto was drawn out of Ghanaians and hence dubbed the ” people’s manifesto”.
According to him, the NDC Government will regularise the activities of Okada in the country which is captured in their manifesto as a way of providing living to the youth who are already in that business.
“The black Volta which borders Cote d’ Ivoire and Chache in the Bole District will be bridged if John Dramani Mahama together with l wins the election”, the MP stated.
This he said will improve the economic viability of the Bole District and water from the black Volta would be sourced to provide portable water to everyone community within the Bole- Bamboi constituency.
According to him he has served the constituents for the past four years with hard work and dedication and believes his mandate will be renewed by the constituents come December 7, to continue his good works.
Hon. Yussif indicated that the NPP Government for the past four years has failed Ghanaians in terms of their projects and promises made.
“They promised us heaven but couldn’t even deliver hell, can you see the 1D1F in Bole, can you see the one million Ghana Cedis per constituency in Bole, they have failed us and hence the need to bring back John Dramani Mahama to rescue the country from the shambles of the NPP”, he said amidst cheers from his party faithfuls.
He indicated that he will not engage in tribal politics or politics of insults because he is an all inclusive leader and will continue to serve his constituents in that regard.
Hon. Yussif therefore called on members of his party to unite with everyone and fight for a common goal ahead of the December polls.
