The National Secretary added that Savannah region has the Black Volta and White Volta transcending across other regions and we will be having projects and he wants us to take advantage of that.

If you come to Savannah region we also have arable lands and it is an advantage for us as a people in the region and if we leverage on the quality soil we will be able to do irrigation farming.

One of the opportunities I want us to take is that, I want to encourage the youth to see agriculture as one of the prospect business that we all need and also let’s see agriculture today as a business.

Out of a total of 136 valid votes cast, Dr. Abutu Kapori polled 76, while Mr. Dawuda garnered 60.

Dr. Kapori thanked delegates for their confidence in him and pledged to lead with vision, and purpose.

“I call on the youth both Males and Females, Ghana today the policy for agriculture is Feed Ghana and so let’s take advantage of the program and if you want to go into poultry, fishing or farming let’s take advantage of the program and we will benefit from it”.
