The Paramount chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Bole wura Sarfo Kutuge Feso(l), will hold an emergency meeting with all youth groups on Friday March 18, 2022, in an effort to contain the recent strange killings and halfway burials in the Bole township.
The purpose of the meeting is to put in place a ‘’Neighborhood Watch Dogs” committee to help the security services in the fight against these illegal killings and burial of unknown bodies in Bole.
This was made known through a press statement released by Mr Abdulai Haruna Obey, Secretary to Bole wura.
According to him, the indiscriminate killings and half burials of unknown bodies in recent times in Bole has caught the attention of the Bolewura’s Palace.
“As the Paramount Chief of Bole Traditional Area, Yiram Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) has stated that he and his sub-Chiefs, Elders and Queen mothers will not sit aloof for this unfortunate calamity to continue to befall the land”, the press statement added.
The Bolewura’s Palace has noted that the causes of this unfortunate killings are not far-fetched and not limited to Galamsey activities, illegal migration of foreigners into Bole, indiscriminate renting of houses and rooms to outsiders or people whose backgrounds are not known, Mr Obey stated in the press statement.
He said in view of this, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) directs among other things that; The Traditional Chief Priest of Bole (Kade-wura) to officially invoke the gods of Bole against any person or group of persons who are into the killing and burial of unknown bodies in Bole township effect Tuesday, 15th March, 2022.
“The Traditional Chief Priest of Bole (Kade-wura) has also been directed by Bolewura to offer special prayers and sacrifices to the gods and ancestors of the land not only to bring to an end this bad canker but make those behind the killings and burials become mad and as well confess in broad day light their illegal deeds”, the statement furthered.
Mr Obey added that, the Chief Imam has also been directed by Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) to organise a special Qu’ranic recitation and prayers to expose these unknown killers.
Any landlord or landlady for whose house these criminals are lodging or hiding, when caught will have his or her house burnt down completely, therefore all landlords are to investigate and know the activities of their tenants properly before offering them accommodation, the statement indicated.
All cargo tricycles (motor king) and passenger tricycles (‘Yellow Yellow’) are banned with immediate effect from operations between 10:00 pm to 4:30 am everyday and any cargo tricycle or passenger tricycles caught operating after 10:00 pm or before 5:00 am shall have machine seized and the owner shall pay a penalty fees of not less one thousand units and more than two thousand units, Mr Obey added in the press statement.
“The Bolewura’s Palace further wish to assure the general public to remain calm as plans are being put in place to help the security services to bring this cancer to a total end”, the statement indicated.
