A man, aged about 70 years has been found dead around green valley, a suburb of Bole of the Yelwa Electoral Area in the Bole District of the Savannah Region.
The man whose identity is currently unknown was found in the early hours of Wednesday, May 1, 2024, in a pool of blood wrapped with a black and white cloth.
Yagbon News understands that the man may have been beaten to death by his attackers and later dumped in the community.
Residents who were present at the crime scene, wants the police to be up and doing in the fight against such crimes.
“I got to know that someone has been killed in area through some community members. I noticed upon reaching the crime scene that the individual suffered an attack as his face is badly damaged , a resident told Yagbon News
“As a resident I am worried about such crime and I want the police to be up and doing in the fight against crime. Even if the individual has committed some sort of crime, he doesn’t deserve to die in this manner,” he added.
The Police, who were the first respondents on the scene, conveyed the body of the unidentified man to the Bole District hospital morgue for preservation.
