The Bole District Football Association has on Saturday June 12, 2021 launched its juvenile league in response to the directive from the Ghana Football Association. The GFA lauched the national championship for Juvenile football a couple of months ago.
After weeks of preparation, the Juvenile league comprising three divisions namely, U-13, U-15 and U-17 will begin on Sunday 13th June,2021.
Only teams that have registered under the Bole District Football Association in the GFA system and have undergone the player screening are taking part.
Four clubs namely : Soccer Heroes, Kafinti FC, Mandari Academy FC
and Bole Peace FC will participate in the U-13 and U-15 categories.
Meanwhile at the U-17 level, five teams including Soccer Heroes, Kafinti FC, Mandari Academy FC, Young super Stars and Pepper Stars will do battle for the right to represent the District at the inter-District championship at the Regional level.
At the ceremony, the Chairman of the Referees Committee of the Bole District Football Association Mr Galku Blaise briefly explained the laws of the game to participants including some players and fans.
This according the BDFA will help to minimize hooliganism during the leagues.
Additionally, Mr Osman Issahaku aka Champion, the chairman of the Data and Statistics Committee together with his friend called Luke, the developer of the much talked about football app, took participants through the app and encouraged them to make good use of it.
