The Bole District Assembly has held their 1st ordinary general meeting of the 4th session of the 8th Assembly with the call on the management committee to take resolution of Assembly meetings seriously.
The meeting started with determination of previous resolution by the house to management notably is the mock examination for the final year JHS student in the District.
The District Coordinating Director,Mr Adam Habib explained that resources were not forth coming, however the demands within the education were quite demanding that they fell on one of the challenges.
The secretary of the Assembly explained that girls in ICT, mock examination among others but chose girls in ICT project to be attended to before other demands to the Assembly.
Addressing the Assembly members at the sitting the District Chief Executive for Bole District Hon Veronica Hemeng called on Assembly members to be grateful to God as stability in the national economy is relative compared to last year.
The political representative of the District said they Bole District Assembly is doing it best to provide development that will enhance the living standards of its citizens.
In highlighting the developmental project within the period in review, the assembly 1No 12 unit market stalls in sonyo, 1no 2 unit kindergarten in seripe, renovation of 1No 15 office accomodations earmarked for Divisional police command among others as projects to be executed.
Under phase two of Ghana productive safety net, there is cashew nursery at seripe,and expansion of sonyo dam, rehabilitation of 1.5km Bonbontey junction to Bonbontey and 1.5 Nokoyiri road to simariyiri.
Under Gulf of Guinea Social Cohesion Project(SOCO) Bole District received 3 No 3 unit classroom in Bonbontey,Kalidu and Ntereso, expansion and maintenance of Shea butter processing center at chache, construction of lorry pack along the Gbenfu road, 2 mechanised boreholes with solar at Dikaatama and Gbebri.
The Chairperson of the District security committee said the call for vigilance as result of insurgency cannot be over emphasized and called on all to go by “see something and say something” mantra.
The Presiding member spoke to the media and highlighted some adopted recommendation by the executive committee including borehole at Jaja dam, street lights at Fulayiri, disilting gutters,adoption of proper constitution of juvenile panel, documentation of Fulani settlers for easy tracing, medical lab and technicians for Tinga and Bamboi health centers among others.
He however called the District assembly to take these resolutions by the Assembly members seriously for the development of the District.
