
The Bole District Chief Executive, Hon. Abdulai Mahmud with National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) continues to donate relief items to affected communities involved in Gbinyiri Conflict on Wednesday, 30th October, 2025.
The relief items included bags of rice, cartons of oil, tomato pastes, sleeping mats, mosquito nets, and disposable cups. The NADMO team was led by the Bole District NADMO Coordinator, Mr. Gbolinyari Gbolo Timothy distributed the relief items to the various affected communities.
The donation was given to seventeen (17) communities in the Bole District which include Gbampe, Chanchere, Konjugma, Gbebere, Kakiase, Gbogdaa, Dabuoyiri, Doli, Nokoyiri, Simariyiri, Dendeyiri, Dikaatama, Sunkunukura, Diboyiri, Koteyiri, Bodi and Sikirikura.
The Bole District Chief Executive, Hon. Abdulai Mahmud speaking to Yagbon Radio news acknowledged the organisations involved in sponsoring the relief items, which are the National Security, philanthropist, and the Chinese company called “Greenhouse Group”, he mentioned.
Addressing the community people, Hon. DCE further expressed that the government, the office of the Bole DCE and NADMO are working tirelessly to ensure that the welfare of the people is protected and peace is restored. The donation aims to assist them in reducing their burden and grant them humanitarian support and comfort as they are much more concerned about the situation. He again said that the relief items are not meant for a particular group or political group but for the entire people in the community regardless of your political affiliation, he clarified.
During his submission, he urged the people in the various communities to see each other as one people and embrace peace. The petrol team and the security men are still on grounds, ensuring that there is peace and stability. He reiterated that the incident was unfortunate, which has caused a lot of harm than good to us, affecting our economic, agriculture, and community growth, among others. That the items distribution delayed as a result of the tension and now given out as there is stability. So they should manage the available items though it is not enough as they are looking forward to supporting them with more items once they receive extra goodies, he emphasized.
The representatives of the various communities expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the government, the office of the Bole DCE, and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) for such unwavering support. They are very grateful for their commitment, and they will ensure that peace is restored in their respective communities, they said.
En earlier donation was made to fifteen (15) communities in the Bole District which include Bale, Tumburuyiri, Horiyiri, Kpenaayiri, Goli, Doolanakura, Jentige, Yombokura, Tinyekura, Dasokura, Manukura, Chache, Jankulakura, Mamadukura and Kpekyirikura
