In a heartwarming display of community support, Hon. Bakar Abdul-Aziz, Assemblyman for the Senyeri Electoral Area, in the Sawla -Tuna-Kalba District has empowered a young and ambitious entrepreneur, Gbolo Hamida, to achieve her dreams.
At a graduation ceremony, Hon. Abdul-Aziz presented Gbolo with an undisclosed cash amount to help her establish her own hairdressing shop, marking the culmination of her 3-year apprenticeship training.
Gbolo’s journey began in 2022, when Hon. Abdul-Aziz sponsored her training under the guidance of experienced trainer Madam Iddisah Sorlliera. She joined nine other apprentices who also graduated, each receiving undisclosed cash donations from Hon. Abdul-Aziz.
This selfless act demonstrates Hon. Abdul-Aziz’s commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs in his electoral area, providing them with the necessary support to succeed in their chosen fields.
