A youth group in Bole known as Arise Bole Youth has on Saturday 21st September 2024 embarked on a clean up exercise in the township of Bole.
Speaking after the clean up exercise Mahama Abdulai aka Culture, a leading member of the group mentioned that the main purpose of the exercise is to keep the town clean and to also reduce malaria cases in the town.
Culture noted that he is disappointed in some of the leaders who didn’t show up in the clean up exercise on that day.
The main drains in front of the GCB Bank of the town were disilted to keep the town free from sanitation related sicknesses with the form conviction that, “cleanliness is next to godliness”.
He thanked the DCE of Bole, Zoomlion, the security agencies most especially the GNFS Bole for their immense support and the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. Raphael Kumah Abolasom for donating 20 packs of bottle water and 20 packs of assorted drinks and also added cash amount of Ghc 500.00.
Other benevolent individuals also supported the group with cash and water.
He used the opportunity to thanked all those that supported the clean up campaign and urged the youth to keep the spirit alive.
“Am appealing to the residents of Bole to keep their surrounding clean” he said.
