The Savannah Regional president of the Federation of the Disables, Mr Tokoro Joshua Dramani, has appealed to the President of the Republic, Nana Akufo-Addo to consider the good works done Mr. Seidu Nuhu Banasco in the Sawla- Tuna-Kalba Constituency and appoint him as the next District Chief Executive of the area.

According to him Mr. Seidu Nuhu Banasco is a leader with impeccable records and that is why he trusts his credentials to lead Sawla-Tuna- Kalba District to the promised land.

He was speaking at a ceremony in Sawla when Nasco Feeding Minds under the auspices of Seidu Nuhu Banasco donated mobility equipment to persons with disabilities in the District.

Mr Tokoro said this is not the first time Banasco and with his NGO has come to the aid of the Federation in the Sawla- Tuna- Kalba District adding that they were very grateful for his kind gestures.

“District Chief Executive position he said is under competitive biding and he is aware that Hon Banasco Nuhu is on the race saying if H .E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo is listening he should make him part of his Government”, he stated.

He said his attitude of paying attention to the venerable in the society in the whole of the district can be attested to.

He however appealed to the Local Government Ministry by extension Government of Ghana to increase their part of common fund.

He also lamented how the monies delay and at times are not paid at all to them.

Mr Tokoro again disclosed that various District Assemblies has refused to give them bank statements they requested for auditing, this he said is disheartening and appealed to the government to release their share of common fund as their students are to go back to school and they need these funds to augment them.
