The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Sarfo KutugeFeso (I), has praised Zion Community Church International for its continuous support in the provision of potable water to rural communities within his jurisdiction.

He said the enormous contribution of the church in improving access to clean, safe drinking water and other social interventions in rural communities was much appreciated by the people.

The chief made these comments when the founder of the church Apostle Dr.Sansah Moses Konjon today October 31, 2021, commissioned a mechanised borehole valued at GHC 25,000.00 for the chief and the people of ‘Pagapaga’ ,a section in Bole town.

Apostle Sansah, founder of the church and Executive Director of Frontier’s Missions Network told Yagbon News that the project was in response to a request by the Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Sarfo KutugeFeso l.

He said in a fact-finding mission to the community, it came to light that water was one of the essential commodities the community lacked.

He expressed gratitude that the project, which started in July, is finally completed and would provide total relief for the chief and his people.

Dr.Sansah, said Frontiers Missions Network in collaboration with the church has funded other projects including providing medical care, providing clothes and food to the underprivileged, providing educational materials to school and drilling of boreholes in communities across the traditional area.

He, therefore, urged the community to take care of the facility to prolong its lifespan.

“We can only do more if we are motivated by observing a good maintenance culture” he added.

The founder and oversear of the Zion Community Church International , said the Church’s efforts in providing safe water to communities was to assist the country in attaining the Sustainable Development Goal Six, which is aimed at providing access to safe drinking water.

He said the church was keen on providing top class education, health and relief services to the people at all times.

According to him the church has since drilled over 40 boreholes in the Savannah Region more especially in the Sawla- Tuna-Kalba District.

The chief, thanked the church for honouring his request and commended them for bringing good drinking water for him and his community and presented a goat and foodstuffs to the donors in appreciation for the kind gesture.
