The Savannah Regional Minister, Hon Salifu Adam Briamah together with members of the Regional Security Council and the Coordinating Council has on Friday 24th July, 2020, visited the palace of Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (l) to congratulate him as the legitimate Paramount chief of the Bole Traditional Area.
Speaking at the Palace, the Savannah Regional minister thanked Yagbonwura, the overlord of the Gonja Traditional Kingdom and the people of Bole for the peace game they played in making sure there is peace in Bole.
“I want to first of all thanked the Yagbonwura for all he has done to make peace prevail in Bole. I also want to thank the people of Bole for how they have been able to handle issues in helping to make peace prevail in Bole.” He said.
The Regional Minister also promised the Palace that “if he has the support of the Bolewura and the people of Bole, he is assuring them Bole will regain its status.
At the Palace, The Bolewura said ” today is a very great day in the history of Bole Traditional Area, for the past decades, this kind of confusion has never been known.
But for three days back, the whole Gonjaland Area was thrown in to a state of happiness, following the declaration of the Yagbonwura, Since that day, this palace has always been full to the capacity.”
He also said that, “It will gladden the Regional minister to hear that, since the pronouncement in Damongo, upon consultation with my chiefs, the Nahariwura (Chief Bukari Abudu) is now the Jentilpewura and the Jentilpewura (Chief Dramani Gbolo) becomes the Nahariwura”, Sarfo Kutuge Feso( l) indicated.
Bolewura further added that, “At the moment we wanted a perfect reconciliation, those who were dissatisfied have since come in their numbers, more than 30 Chiefs are seated before you. That’s the spirit of perfect reconciliation.”
Bolewura reassured the Regional minister that there is perfect peace in Bole.
Earlier when DISEC paid me a visit, I assured them their work will now reduced, there would no more be curfew and intimidation, he indicated.
The Minister and his entourage made a stop over at Jentilpewura, Chief Bukari Abudu’s house and he assured the Regional Minister and his entourage that Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso( l) is his grandson and that what they all want is peace and development of the area and he is ready to support him in all his endeavor to ensure that there is development in Bole and Gonjaland.

The Yagbonwura Tutumba Boresa (I), Overlord of Gonjaland Traditional Council accepted a report and recommendation by blessing Sarfo Kutuge Feso (l) as the Paramount chief of Bole Traditional Area following conclusions from the works of the five Eminent Chiefs of Mediation Committee responsible for finding long lasting solutions to all chieftaincy issues in the Gonja Kingdom.
The pronouncement was made on Monday, July 20, 2020 by the Overlord accepting Sarfo Kutuge Feso(l ) as the legitimate Bolewura.
The two parties accepted the verdict by the five Eminent Chiefs of Mediation Committee which was task to bring finality to long standing chieftaincy dispute for the Bole Skin between Sarfo Kutuge Feso(l ) and Chief Bukari Abudu.
In the meeting at the Yagbonwura’s palace in Damongo, Sarfo Kutuge Feso(l) received the blessing by the Overlord as the new Bolewura and can go ahead to enskin sub chiefs in his area to aid in his administration including his rival chief Bukari Abudu as Jentilpe wura.
The Chairman of the five Emminent Chiefs of the Mediation Committee, His Royal Majesty Buipewura also added that Sarfo Kutuge Feso (l) shall pay an amount of GH 10,000.00, 7 cows, 7 sheep, 1 white cock and 100 pieces of cola nut to the the Yagbon wura palace for disobeying the orders of Yagbon wura on several occasions.
