Match Day three in the Bole Zone of the Division Two League took place on Saturday and Sunday at various venues.

In Bole, Bole United took on table toppers Kanyiti from Sawla at the Kurabaso Field.

The home side failed to let their dominance in the first half count as the half time ended goaless.

Kanyiti FC then took over in the second half and had their reward as Salihu Awadari broke the virginity of game five minutes after recess. Douglas Hanif doubled the lead with a long – range free kick that surprisingly beat the goalkeeper of United.

After Bole United managed to get what turned out to be a consolation from the spot, Hanif had his second making it 3-1 in favour of the away side. United failed to score again despite Kanyiti going down to nine men.

The win means Kanyiti FC stays on top with 9 maximum points.

Meanwhile Pusher FC held Bole Supper Stars to goaless draw on Sunday at the Kurabaso Field. Super Stars are therefore without a win in three matches whiles Pusher FC has drawn two and won one giving them 5 points and second on the table.

In the Zone’s other game, Savannah RFC also recorded thier first win in two matches against Tuna Hawks who are yet to pick a point in thier three games.

All teams but Kanyiti FC will be in action in the mid week.

Pusher FC host a wounded loin in the form of Bole United at the BOSEC football filed whiles Savannah RFC hosts Super Stars in a 5th vs 6th affair at Larabanga.
On Thursday July 1st 2021, STK Stars will seek nothing but all three points as they play guest to Hawks at Tuna.
