
The New Patriotic Party in the Savannah Region has directed all NPP flags to fly at half-mast to mourn the death of its Former Savannah Regional Minister and Former MP for Salaga South Constituency,Hon.Salifu Adams Braimah.
The Regional Chairman of the party, Alhaji Sulemana Iddrisu (Prof Kalamonia) also directed that all party activities in the region should be put to stop immediately.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Savannah Regional Secretary,Mr Issah Mohammed.
The Former minister was reported dead after a short illness.
He is reported to have passed away at the University of Ghana Hospital.
The statement described him as a brother and uncle popularly known as “Uncle Sally,” noting that the party is with the family in this sad moment.
Salifu Adam Braimah was a Ghanaian politician and a member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic, representing the Salaga South Constituency in the Savannah Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.
