Nujaal Joseph, a tutor at Tuna Senior High Technical School has been appointed as the Sawla -Tuna-Kalba District Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO).
Nujaal Joseph,also an Assembly Member for the Tuna West Electoral Area has a strong political background, having served in various capacities within the National Democratic Congress (NDC), including as the constituency organizer.
Nujaal Joseph’s appointment is expected to bring fresh energy and restructuring to NADMO’s operations in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba, ensuring the organization effectively delivers on its mandate.
The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), operating under the Ministry of the Interior, was established by Act 517 of 1996 to manage disasters and emergencies across the country.
As the raining season approaches, Nujaal Joseph’s leadership is anticipated to enhance disaster preparedness, prevention,response, and recovery efforts in the District.
