The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Bole District, Hon. Abdulai Mahamud in his maiden public appearance since his confirmation, urged youths to avoid drug abuse during the 2025 Inter-Circuit Sports Festival held at Bamboi. The DCE’s remarks underscored the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and harnessing their energy for sports and personal development.
The sports festival, which brought together talented young athletes from various circuits, provided a platform for the DCE to emphasize the need for youths to prioritize their well-being and make informed choices. He encouraged the participants to focus on their sporting talents and strive for excellence, highlighting the potential benefits of a sports-oriented lifestyle.
Furthermore, the DCE reaffirmed the commitment of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to provide sports infrastructure to nurture and develop the sporting talents of the youth in the district. This promise resonated with the participants and stakeholders, who recognize the positive impact that adequate sports facilities can have on promoting athletic development and community engagement.
The 2025 Inter-Circuit Sports Festival served as a catalyst for promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and community spirit among the youth.
