Vagla Youth Association to hold 2022 Congress at Sawla.

The Vagla Youth Association is set to hold their annual national Congress at Sawla, the capital of the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District of the Savannah Region with the grand durbar on December 31, 2022.

This came to light after the a fruitful meeting between the National Executive Committee of the Vagla Youth Association and the Vaglikoora Council on the said date.

The theme; for the event is “Promoting Justice, Peace and freedom for sustainable development in Savannah region: The role of ethnic youth associations”.

The PRO of the association, Mr Richard Forgor, detailed the activities of the event as follows, arrival will be on 29th December 2022, with a youth forum on 30th December 2022.

The grand durbar of the Congress will be on 31st December 2022 and departure on 1st January 2023.

All branches, all Vagla, all Safalba, all Chorba and all Nomee are expected to be there for this historic Congress, according to a statement issued by the National PRO.

The general public is therefore invited to come and see the true culture of the Vagla, Safalba, Chorba and the Nomee people.
