An NGO donates computers to schools in Sawla- Tuna- Kalba District.

An NGO, Nasco Feeding Minds with its Executive Officer, Mr. Seidu Nuhu Banasco  has donated 50 computer to some schools in the Sawla Tuna Kalba district of Savannah region to facilitate the teaching and learning of ICT.

The beneficiary schools include the Nahari D/A cluster of schools, St cyprins minor seminary and Sawla vocational. Nahari Cluster of schools received thirty five computers while st cyprins and Sawla Vocational institute got twenty sets of computers each.

Addressing the chiefs and people of Nahari in a mini durbar, Mr. Banasco, said the donation is to create an opportunity for the young ones that have not gotten access to the digital age.

He urged the leadership of the various institutions to maintain the facilities properly and to be used for their intended purposes.

 The Nahari cluster of schools old students built a library and a computer lab for the school appealed to the foundation for assistance in the area of computers, Banasco disclosed.

A representative from the District Assembly admonished the beneficiary schools to take care good care of the facilities. He urged them to take security of the facilitate serious.

The District Deputy coordinating Director said they are very impress with the activities of Nasco Feeding Minds cut across the District. He promised that the District Assembly will power the computer lab and make fully functional.

The exercise attracted other partners of the foundation from Ghana and Denmark.
