A youth group within the New Patriotic Party known as the “young elephants” in the Sawla -Tuna – Kalba District of the Savannah Region have hailed their District chiefs Executive (DCE ) Lawal Tamimu for his marvellous developmental initiatives in the area.

According to them, the DCE has proven beyond doubt since he assumed office and has therefore called on the President to maintain him to continue the good work he has done in the District..

The youth led by Sulemana Osman,
pleaded with President Akufo-Addo to maintain Lawal Tamimu for a second term in office.

He said the DCE has always listened to the needs of the people in the area having addressed to the building of toilet facilities, construction of roads on going, street lights and a host of others .

Mr sulemana said , “a lot of DCE have come but all failed to perform to expectation except Hon. Lawal Tamimu whose performance has met the peoples needs and hence should be retain in office .

John Maa- E , a former Assemblyman for the Gbeneyiri electoral area and the 2017 District best farmer with the group also commended the DCE for his outstanding performance in making sure that development is spread across the entire District and hence the need for President Akufo Addo to retain the DCE to continue his good works.
