The National Executive Committee of the Gonjaland Youth Association through the patron, Yagbonwura Tuntumba Boresah l, has announced that the Association would embark on a peace walk on October 24, 2020, at Bole in the Savannah Region.
The exercise, according to a statement from the Association is to preach peace to the Ghanaian populace ahead of the forthcoming General Elections set for December 7, 2020.
Part of the statement from the Association reads, “this peace Walk will also afford all political parties and other stakeholders the opportunity to pledge and assure the people of Savannah Region of their commitment to peace in the upcoming elections.
The Association is, therefore inviting all groups and human institutions to join the clarion call on October 24, 2020.
The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area Sarfo Kutege Feso l, the Savannah Regional minister, Regional Police Commander and chairpersons of the various political parties are all expected to grace the occasion on the stated date.
