Dream for Gonjaland, an NGO that focuses on quality health and education for young people in Gonjaland on Friday 8th July 2022 donated sixty (60) bags of cement to renovate Kurabaso schools in Bole of the Savannah Region.
Speaking to Yagbon News after the donation, the founder of Dream for Gonjaland, Benjamin Haruna Alhassan said the NGO has come to Bole and Gonjaland to partner with other stakeholders to develop Bole in general.
He added that this morning we came to the Bolewura’s palace and, it is a short ceremony we came to do to kick start our activities in the Gonjaland, so we presented some sixty (60) bags of cement to the Bolewura and the entire Sarfope royal gate so we can fix the Kurabaso schools as the school is in a mercy situation everything about it is bad, doors windows and floors.
So we want to make the school nice especially as we are celebrating the late Yagbonwura Kurabaso 40th anniversary, he died on 23rd November 1982 so coming 23rd November 2022 will be the 40 years of demise, that’s why we have started our activities with this small project and bigger things are to come across the Gonjaland, he noted.
So we appealing to people that have Bole at heart to come out and help in the labour works.
The project received lots of appraisal from chiefs and elders of the Bole Traditional Area and teachers of the school.
